General Comments:

Let me start with my summary/overview: Get Yourself Booked On. We absolutely loved it at Heart Lake. I’ve fished all over the world and it’s actually quite hard to find somewhere that has a true sense of privacy, but Heart Lake has it. Another big bonus is that it is only 10 minutes away from the local big town, which has all the facilities you’ll ever need and more.

This venue is ideal for one or two carp fishing families, or a group of two or three anglers. There’s plenty of fish to go at too. Our catch report is so low because we didn’t fish at night and were often away from the lake during the day as well on days out.

Hosts Lionel and Veronique are really superb and offer the perfect balance between being there if you need them, or leaving you alone and private, if that’s what you want too. Lionel is also a very experienced carp angler and well worth listening to.

We are already trying to make arrangements to go back, and you can’t say more than that.
