Big hardened boilie and fake baits due to crayfish problem. Fish the far margin as far left as possible.

Yes. Thank God we had the cabins due to the horrendous rain. Mine did flood but the water soon drained away. It left the cabin very damp but Fabien immediately provided a fan heater to help dry it.

General Comments:

Although we had horrendous rain and only three fish were caught (heavy run off from the field behind the lake turned the water chocolate brown) I would love to return in the summer because the lake and surrounds were picturesque and  judging by pictures of previous fish there are some specimens to be caught! Fabien and Mrs Rondeau were excellent hosts, helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned about our wellbeing and comfort.

I had 14 carp to 43 pounds. 7 over 30 pounds, all in excellent condition

Fabien and his wife made us feel very welcome, and went out of his way to help. The lake is in a lovely site surrounded by nature.

We used scopex squid pop ups, tight (0.5m/1m) against the margin opposite the cabins

Very happy with them, they were clean, well maintained and had cooking utensils that was unexpected

General Comments:

Fabein and family were so welcoming! Their hospitality was genuine from start to finish! We can not wait to come back in a couple years to see the growth of the lake stock.

We caught 7 carp and 1 tench in a week.

We noticed the squid bait was the most attractive for the fish. Boilies worked brilliant and tigernuts.

The facilities were beautiful! Had everything you could need! Was definitely a luxury stay for fishing.

General Comments:

The hosts were amazing! We will definitely be returning. It's just so peaceful and beautiful. The fish are so well looked after, you can see they actually care about there business which is nice. We noticed the fish was more in the shallow end at the bottom during the day, just a tip for other anglers while there here.
