Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish based boilies worked best for us. Fishing the back margins caught the smaller fish with the bigger fish all coming out from open water, on the edge of gravel and silt. All types of baiting worked, but just boilie and pellet had the better fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Outstanding fishing facilities. Decent shower and toilet, be prepared to ride round to them though.

Extremely.

There are plenty of fish to be caught, but having a good degree of angling ability is needed. Simply turning up and expecting to catch fish with casting anywhere will not work. A bait bot will allow you to get to the far margins (33 wraps).

Far margin , pop up double fake corn , just keep baiting the spots

The lakes fantastic , facilities are great , loved the idea of bicycles to the toilet kept me fit. Swims are great and spacious

Really pleased definitely one of the best French lakes we ve Fished for overall package

General Comments:

Bruno , what can we say , what a guy , made you feel at home all week and whenever we needed advice or bait he was there , he genuinely wants you to have a good week and catch fish. Only criticism would be the snags on the far side , they need to be cleared , but dangerous they always dive for them and it’s fishing at range from that middle peg. Don’t forget your bait boats it’s a very wide lake and watch out for the ducks ?
