General Comments:
We have fished at Sky Lake for 7 years+ and already have the next 3 years booked. At Sky the food is excellent and would recommend it to everyone. Bernie's lunch time baguettes are a must - best anywhere. When it comes to fishing, Sky Lake is not a runs water, but it holds many many stunning carp. Best advice, listen to Andy + Rob as they know the lake like the back of their hands.

General Comments:
We have fished this lake twice a year (minimum) for 12 years. We have fishing many lakes in France and this is tops hands down. It's a proper carp lake, not a runs water hole in the ground. The lake is managed beautifully, it is safe and secure.
The fish are stunning and kept that way due to the owners diligence with rules. At times it can be very hard, especially in colder months early in the year, as we have fished it most months. But you cannot predict your weather on your week.
The food is excellent, we always have the full package and would certainly recommend. I see a lot of reference to shower times, this has never been a problem and actually quite logical as we would normally reel in about 4pm to go to use the facilities before we have the evening meal at 5pm, go back and put rods out for the night. Thus only reeling in once.
The owners cannot do enough for you and will help any time of the day or night, just ask. Snacks can be purchased on site, so can beers and cans. Charging battery packs etc again no problem. All in all a fantastic fishery and at the end of the day, your week is what you make it.

General Comments:
Very disappointed with the fishing.
The dream of my first big carp fishing trip in france was very disappointing.
The only carp we catched was my son's' and we have caught bigger in the uk.
The weather i understand was cold for the time of year but to be told we were 3 weeks too early didn't take well.
Will need to do better homework on my next fishing trip / venue.
When spending the money we did i would expect better venue with shower / charging facility´s. Not looking for hotel standards but when living in a bivvy for a week you just want some basics.

General Comments:
I loved Sky Lake so much, I re-booked for next year before I left! It is the perfect carp fishing lake. Andy, Bernie and Rob are amongst the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet.
I would describe Sky lake as: made by anglers, for anglers - you are treated like a fellow angler and not a "customer". It is a mature lake in the middle of the country side, so the only noises that you can hear is the wonderful wildlife.
The pegs are finished to a high standard - they are well thought out, maintained and spacious. Each peg has a clearly defined allocation of water. The facilities are fantastic. Even with this, it manages to maintain a natural feeling, rather than being commercial.
The stock of fish is seriously impressive and they are really well looked after.
Andy and Rob are highly accomplished anglers and know the lake like the back of their hand, so will always be able to give you pointers.
I have fished many many venues and Rob has to be head and shoulders above any bailiff I have ever come across. It is clear to see that Rob has a passion for helping people catch fish and will help you to no end (if that is what you want). He kept me up to date with the goings on around the lake and gave me lots of advice - which directly resulted in my captures. Rob also helped me weigh my fish and takes top class photos!
Andy and Rob even dropped everything within an instant to come and help me at the local supermarket after my car had broken down - something which I am super grateful for.
The food was nothing less than excellent! Super tasty home cooked meals every evening made the experience even better and were always on time :)
Other points: all the bait you will need is supplied at the lake (I would not recommend bringing any),
there is a very good phone signal,
shops and petrol station are close by,
the fish get around all of the pegs,
there are no snags
