60lb Barrier Broken at Villefond!, 20th Sep

Arnold our biggest Male has broken the 60lb barrier for the first time! This hard fighting monster fish has been hanging around the 60lb mark for awhile and has finally come out over it at nearly 61lb, he was 60lb 11oz!

The other great part of this capture is the fact he was caught at a time when all the fish are low in weight after some of them spawning 3 times this year. So now they are getting thier weight back on for winter so I would expect Arnie to be atleast a mid 60 in a few months.

Lake Record Catfish, 24th Aug

Two nights in scorching heat proved a really productive quick session. I managed to bank the lake record catfish at 91lb 12oz after a hard but fun fight on heavy duty catfish gear.

This followed by a stunning 21lb stocky and a really hard fighting 43lb 14oz mirror known as single scale, making me a happy boy!

Arnie out again, 7th Jun

Arnold the fish has come out again at a massive 59lb 1 but what is so impressive about this capture apart from the great pictures is the time of year. He has come out right after spawning when some of our big girls are over 10lb down in weight. Being a male he doesnt drop as much weight but he still drops a good 5lb chasing the girls and not eating, so he is just a couple of weeks feeding off being a nice 60lb fish, here are the great pics
