News from Villefond lake

Stocking at Villefond , 6th Mar
Great news for everyone fishing villefond this year, we have just recieved a new stocking of young fish.
We have added 30 carp over winter, 3 from our stock pond and 27 from a delivery from our fish farmer. The average weight was 19.75lbs. The stocking included some stunning fish including commons, linears, and scaley mirrors.
We know these smaller fish will bring our average weight down but we are hoping the new uncaught confident carp will encourage our wiser, older, bigger carp to feed a little more recklessly and hopefully they will also provide sport for less experienced anglers and provide sport inbetween catching our resident monsters.

More Potential 50's in Villefond, 6th Mar
Some more exciting news coming from Villefond this winter. We keep meticulous records of our fish and on inspection of those records we have discovered more potential new 50lb+ fish.
We have 7 different fish that have gone over the 50lb barrier and looking through the records last year we had 9 fish that were caught over 48lb. That means this year we have a lot of fish waiting to get caught for the first time over the magic 50lb barrier.

'Want to say thankyou very much for our holiday to Villiefond, once again it was superb! Fishing was good, 3x30 plus, and 2x20s! The staff were once again more than accommodating and we will look to go back a 3rd time!
