Details of your catches:
We caught 100 carp to 27lb, 43 were over 20lb.
Slow at start due to cold weather but picked up later in the week. Most fish came from the far bank a little noise shy as first week.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Most fish came to raja spice supplied by quest baits, with pva bags of halibut pellet.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes this my third trip here and they have tidied up the gite since last time. It offers more than ample facilities for a week away.
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, it is what it is, lots of fish to be caught but nothing huge. A great place to go for a relax and a social without the pressure of some lakes.

Details of your catches:
The fishing was fantastic, and we caught every day from all the swims we tried - mainly along the dam wall and amongst the trees along the lodge bank (thankful for the shelter from the heat). We each averaged 9 or 10 fish per day mainly in the high teens, but each had 2 or 3 twenties a day. Best fish just over 26lb
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Kept everything simple with a running ledger, single boilie either with a stringer, PVA bag, and a very gentle stream of freebies. This was a holiday to relax, so didn't fish too hard and therefore used just the two rods. Every bait caught, but strawberry and tutti fruity boilies were best.

General Comments:
Really good holiday, great fishing with the chance to relax as much as you want. The onsite owners were very friendly and helpful giving local information and regular weather forecasts. Angling lines were fantastic, helping set up our holiday at the last moment, when our original holiday (with another company) fell through. Many thanks to everyone involved!
