Yes, nice cabin, lovely swimming pool. Surroundings are stunning.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy, although the sofa beds in the cabin could be more comfortable. WIFI in the cabin would be a plus.

Despite tricky conditions due to constant thunderstorms we still managed to catch 85 fish.

When we did get chance to fish, the fishing was manic, so much so that most of the time we fished with 1 rod!!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Pop up over beds of pellet and sweetcorn
Double fake maize in a solid bag seemed to be the most effective.

Absolutely. The cottage was a welcome addition when shelter from the storms was needed.

Yes very much so. Alice and her family are really nice and looked after us.

Details of your catches:

Slow start due to spawning, only 5 fish in the first 2 days and they ignored boilies, however we loose fed hoping to attract them.
Went onto sweetcorn and we were away.
72 carp overall, best 40lbs 8oz, total weight 1550lbs. The boilies came good later in the week.
Fished towards middle of the lake, generous baiting. 2 nets and assistance a must as we had several double takes and a couple of triples!

15mm house boilies and pellets, generous loose feeding and fished on the bottom.

The facilities exceeded our expectations, the property was well equipped and very clean.

The area is very rural, although good supermarket in Liginiers.
