Were the facilities what you expected?

Very good! Fished in the storms and minus temps so the lodge was really appreciated. Shower and kitchen facilities also very good.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, having a fridge was great for storing food etc.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes, we only fished February as it was a Covid cancelled trip from previous years. Delighted we caught some pristine winter carp.

I cannot praise enough the work that Julie and the team at Angling Lines put in for us!
2 cancelled trips from Covid but we were always reassured that our booking was safe and would eventually happen.
I would only book with Angling Lines as they are professional and put customers first.

General Comments:

We are already booked for 2 future trips, one more to Deux Isles in the summer to take on Bruno’s beautiful fish!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Usually winter fishing tactics - Location Location Location. With the cold conditions took a few days to track down where the fish were held up. All bites came to small bags with small wafter hookbaits (white/yellow) cast to showing fish in a localised area where the fish were held up.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Better. The cabins made a big difference in being comfortable in the cold conditions and having a fridge was a big help for food prep. Shower and kitchen area very clean and plenty of hot water.

Yes, have used Angling Limes before and continue to provide a great service even through the Covid challenges.

Just got back from an excellent week at Deux Iles, the owner Bruno was very very helpful and a great guy he has got the lake in perfect condition and the cabins are a lovely touch. Had a fantastic week.
