1 x Grass Carp 29lb 11oz and 6 x Mirrors from 11lb 12oz to 34lb 8oz
Only 1 during the day and the rest at night, they just weren't taking anything during the extreme heat of the day.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Listen to Gary and get the right spots. I was using Ronnie Rigs and a Multi rig either with a wafter or snowman and with a variety of bait from the onsite Inferno to Mainline Hybrid and Essential Cell, all mixed with Maize and or Pellets/Particle mix. No one bait was better than the other.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Wasn't too sure before we arrived but surprisingly yes, there was everything we needed.

Most definitely

General Comments:

I have read other comments regarding Gary and Angeline and you always wonder if its all genuine but I can say without reservation they are spot on, very welcoming, easy to get on with, chatty, good sense of humour, helpful and produce some tasty food.

There was a definite feeling that we were being looked after, Gary spent a night on the bank with me and Angeline had organised a girlie get together for the North and South wives/partners. I won't take anything away from them, just keep up the good work.

We had 1x40 2x30 and 3 doubles, lost 8 fish, the fish weren't taking baits confidently

Wafters toped off with fake corn

They were great, comfortable clean and well equipped, the ac unit was great to have in the heat

More than happy, it was like home from home

As always Angling Lines was spot on

General Comments:

Gary and Angeline were so kind and helpful and would do anything for you and their dog Piper was amazing came to see use for a cuddle every day

Details of your catches:

25 fish caught in total over a week session, cant remember the weights of all but lovely looking fish and some big fish too.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I preferred Single wafters on a D rig, my mate was on single wafters and one topped with artificial corn, both worked well

Was better than we thought, amazing facilities, very clean

Yes - they were amazing

We already did while fishing and planning on going back out there next year. Brilliant.

Already have done, few people are now looking at booking holidays abroad to France through the angling lines website just to get on to Gary and Angeline’s lake.

General Comments:

Gary and Angeline were very welcoming from the get go and really made us feel at home. The food was amazing and there always spending some time with the anglers on the lake and giving tips to the anglers who are asking for them , they never hold back if you need any advise on the fishing. Just ask Gary he’s sure around to help out and let you know a few spots where the fish come out from, he knows his lakes very well.
And I would say to anyone who’s going out there - get the food package at no hesitation, it’s well worth it and saves trying to buy bits and bobs out in France if you don’t speak very good French.

12 fish biggest being 46lb. Plenty of high 30s, every fish is in stunning pristine condition
