If your looking for a holiday with excitement, peace & contentment then this is for you. Nature & beauty at its best, our 2 weeks have flown by, wish we had booked 3. Your hosts are truly wonderful the perfect hosts, they leave you alone if you wish or if you need help with your fishing Garry is only too willing to help, listen to him his advice is priceless & you will learn many new skills. Chats with Angeline & a bottle of wine just wonderful, I will miss her company.
Just sit by this gorgeous lake soak up the peace & quiet, if you're lucky you will see the beautiful kingfisher, taking a rest on your rod, or the frogs having a natter to each other it really is quite funny, or you might see the snake swim across the lake.
From a very discerning womans point of view, its just heaven to sit & watch nature at its very best, the facilities are just great, the pictures don't do the accommodation justice its fine for a family of 4 everything you need is supplied, the welcome you receive is perfect.
We can't thank you enough for a wonderful 2 weeks we will never forget.

Fished in both margins and open water with lake boilie and pellet. Both pop up and bottom bait rigs used.

Yes spotless as always and the new shower is fantastic.

General Comments:

My second 2 week visit to Eau De Vie this year. The first week with temperatures in the 40’s, it was never going to be easy so more sunbathing than fishing!
The second week much cooler and as a result with Gary’s help had 12 fish on the bank. Gary & Angeline are fantastic hosts and the food was exceptional. I’m already counting the days until my next visit in October.

6 x Mirror carp 10lb 4oz, 11lb 8oz, 20lb 4oz, 20lb 11oz, 20lb 15oz, 21lb 10oz.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Pop ups over particle mix and pellet, some with attractants. Fished margins in day when temperatures were high and open water and margins at night.

Yes - Well managed friendly intimate venue. Fishing advice readily available along with tips and support. The venue has everything you need and more. It is well stocked and fish are showing on a regular basis day and night.

General Comments:

The owners are passionate about fishing and are constantly looking to improve and iron out any imperfections. “How that is possible to improve upon I do not know I can’t find any faults at all!” We were made to feel welcomed the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was fantastic. The accommodation was clean, in fact spotless. We opted for the food package and it was incredible. The food was so good that I am not looking forward to going home!!! For anglers reading and comparing other Venus then DO NOT PASS THIS ONE BY BOOK IT.......You will not find one better.
