General Comments:

Hard weeks fishing. Gary & Angeline are great hosts and will do all they can to make your visit a good one. All round a very good package.

Biggest 26lb grass carp + 16lb grass carp.
4 x common carp 12, 14, 16 and 11lb.

Ronnie rig with citrus pop-up. Open water for most.

General Comments:

Food was very good, owners were polite and helpful. Fishing was a challenge, very mixed weather and conditions.

Details of your catches:

A tough week, very hot and some spawning. With Gary's advice we managed 15 fish to 45lb 2oz. All fish in mint condition and very hard fighting.

We used different baits from pop ups to bottom baits with lake pellets all catching fish.

Gary & Angeline fantastic hosts to us and our two children. We have had such a great time and already booked to return next May!

15 fish to 25lb 3oz only fished for 5 days with most fish out during the night.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Pop ups for all fish, the fish this week laid up under the bushes for much of the time. A bait boat is a real benefit. Shame I couldn't attract the bigger fish but a great week on a nice lake.

General Comments:

Gary & Angeline have been great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. A nice lake for the future and it will benefit when the small fish from the flood have been removed. *Owner's note* As anglers catch the smaller carp we are moving them back to the stock pond :-)
