Pop ups over particle mix and pellet, some with attractants. Fished margins in day when temperatures were high and open water and margins at night.

Yes - Well managed friendly intimate venue. Fishing advice readily available along with tips and support. The venue has everything you need and more. It is well stocked and fish are showing on a regular basis day and night.

General Comments:

The owners are passionate about fishing and are constantly looking to improve and iron out any imperfections. “How that is possible to improve upon I do not know I can’t find any faults at all!” We were made to feel welcomed the moment we arrived. Their hospitality was fantastic. The accommodation was clean, in fact spotless. We opted for the food package and it was incredible. The food was so good that I am not looking forward to going home!!! For anglers reading and comparing other Venus then DO NOT PASS THIS ONE BY BOOK IT.......You will not find one better. Well done and thank you Gary and Angeline

Following Gary’s tips and spots.
Margins during the day and open water at night. Both bottom bait and pop ups produced carp, although meatier baits preferred. Lake pellet and particle was used in the bait boat we hired, for accuracy and margins

Yes extremely happy 10/10. Although we slept in bivvies the accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well thought out. A great base for our weeks fishing.

General Comments:

A stunning lake and venue, with Gary, Angeline and Piper making us feel at home. The food package was exceptional and not to be missed. Overall a tough weeks fishing (due to the weather), but one I wouldn’t change at all. A truly special venue and one I hope to return to.

16 fish in total. Biggest fish 35lb mirror. All fish are in mint condition and very well looked after by Gary. Very hot week.

Top venue, we will be returning. Gary and Angeline are top hosts. Food is great. Lake is lovely and Gary will put you on the fish. Great week away guys.

16 fish in total, very hot conditions. Gary was amazing with his help and advice. With an average weight of 24lb. All fish are in prestige condition and venue stunning also. Food served by resident chef Angeline was amazing.
