Yes - the cabin was perfect to stay in if you didn't want to fish the night, had all the facilities to self cater but you would be crazy not to get the food package...Angeline's cooking is not to be missed!

General Comments:

Absolutely brilliant lake with a good head of fish. Gary bends over backwards to make sure you catch and have everything you need. Angeline's cooking makes the food package unmissable with every meal a treat to eat. Generally a great holiday made truly brilliant by Gary & Angeline, we will definitely be back next year.

Mirror, Common and Grass carp to 41lb. Total of 27 fish.

Fishing in the margins due to the weather during the day and some open water during the night. Bait was typically Complex T Fluro pop-ups and some squid dumbbell pop-up on a Ronnie rig.

Better than expected. We stayed in the converted railway carriage, this was plenty big enough with all the necessary facilities for the 3 of us.

General Comments:

The lake is plenty large enough for 4 anglers. Our hosts Gary & Angeline were very welcoming and friendly. We opted for the food package and this was superb. Gary was very helpful with all kinds of fishing tips and tried his best to make sure you caught fish.

Due to the hot weather we fished tight to the margins under overhanging trees using Gary's rigs and bait! Pink worked well.
