In total 51 fish caught, of which 31 Mirror Carp between 20-43 lbs, 11 Common Carp between 12-35 lbs and 9 Grass Carp between 13-23 lbs

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

2 20 mm boilies 0,5cm (max.) to the hook ( size 2-4) bend, all kinds of boilies work, but make sure the boilies are hard enough to prevent poisson chat problems. On the tiger nuts we caught mostly Grass Carp.

Yes, it was the 4th time we visited Mas Bas

For sure, excellent venue, beautiful and restful environment, good stock of hard fighting carp, great house and facilities, nice owners very helpful, possibility to rent 2 extra bedrooms

93 fish caught 4 x 40's biggest 47, 31 x 30's, 51 x 20's and 6 under 20.

By far the most fish I have ever caught from a venue in a week, absolutely fantastic session. Mainly mirrors with commons and grass carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing boilies over pellets, simple rigs, nothing too complicated. They just kept coming, I struggled to keep three rods in the water.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Mas Bas has fantastic facilities, house and pool are great , house is equipped with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Hosts were fantastic too, great advice from Gilles and Sharon, could not do enough for us.

Yes exceeded all our expectations.

Day fishing only, 2 days over 40 degrees c, best times between mid morning and early afternoons.
2 x 20mm raja spice boillies “rapped” topped with fake corn, fishing close to the far bank.

General Comments:

This property was more than I expected, the the view of the lake and surrounding countryside is amazing, photos just don't do it justice. Loved this place, as did my family.

Details of your catches:

Another great week at Mas Bas main lake, 74 fish landed biggest being 42.8lb.
Weather cool and breezy at the beginning of the week with temperatures rising to near 30 degrees as the week went on. 15 fish lost and had a few tench, bream and chat.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing to the far margin and island produced the most fish. Only 2 fish caught from the fountain which was surprising as this area has been very good for me before.
Double 20mm boilies to make it harder for the chat. Don't over feed as it brings in the nuisance fish.

Facilities in good order as usual, nice new sun beds.
