Were the facilities what you expected?

the facilites were better than expected, the house is unbelieveably close to the lake which provides convience for a excellent family hoiday as everyone is based all in the same area. the house has everything you could need i would say it is in a rustic manner that is suited to its surroundings, which are stunning you really are in the middle of the countryside here with stunning views from all around the property. the pool is lovely although a little cold however you soon get used to it and its refreshing when its hot. the bbq is also very good and again it is all in one area at the front of the house. overall i have nothing to complain about.

Were you happy with them?

yes exceptionally however the only three things that would make it perfect would be wi-fi and also a 'sky english' tv package and maybe a heated pool.

General Comments:

very good first experience booking with angling lines-big thanks to bridget for all her help and the bottle of wine she left for us, we will definetley be going back to mas bas.

Fished minimally through out the week and did not night fish at all. 5 carp to mid twenties in total plus a sturgeon and a turtle! Only 1 angler but did lose a much bigger mirror close to the net :-(

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Very poor on the tactic front as only fished odd hours, never at night and no pre baiting. The fish were all over the place and any angler addressing the fishing seriously would have done well.

I love this place and return year after year. There is so much to do for the non anglers and it really is a place to relax in.

General Comments:

Feel sorry to let the lake down by not dedicating myself more to the fishing but this was a family holiday first and foremost.

Better than expected. Everything was perfect and the accomodation is better than some 4* hotels

More than happy this place is a real treat for both anglers and non anglers.

General Comments:

Every member of our party commented that this holiday was the best they had ever had and could not wait to visit again. Not only does it have exellent fishing facilities it's set in in one of the most beautiful places in the world. You really have to visit to appreciate it.

We had over 70 carp between us, biggest over 35lb, a couple of sturgeon, a few bream and roach, pumpkin seeds and black bass.

a long drive but worth the effort, all in all a real jewel in your crown at Angling Lines, Giles and Lesley very pleasant hosts. Will send some pictures later in the week.
