General Comments:

The house and setting are great.
The fishing needs some attention, too many grass carp! The grass carp are putting on weight but the average weight for the other carp is falling.The fish were also showing mouth damage,split or broken fins/tails. Better unhooking mats/landing nets and education needs to be provided for fish wealthfare.Many anglers are not properly prepared to catch large fish.

loved the place my biggest was a 42lb mirror. I also had a 40lb common and several other 30lb+ commons.

close to margins even went and dropped the line in from the other bank :-)

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Lotus cottage in need of some tlc. Steps to car park need some attention too. i would not recommend for small children But for us as adults it was fine.

Yes. absolutely the package was very good and very competitive pricing. We made several changes all of which were accommodated.

Lovely place looking to come back. Owners great, very peaceful in beautiful surroundings.

i had 53 carp, 3 x 40, 4 x 30, 17 x 20, the other two had about 60 carp to 32lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

large baits, 2 x 20mm boilies, or 20mm & 15mm pop up. spread of bait with throwing stick, boilies only. NO PARTICALS!!!! if you use a bait boat the grass carp will have the bait straight away.

Very good, the whole family loved the place.

Great place for the whole family, I could fish all week and be with the family at the same time. house is lovely and the pool was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can not wait to go back.

I CAUGHT 2-40'S 5-30'S 10-20'S 12-DOUBLES AND LOADS OF GRASS CARP TO 15LB.

Quest 20 mm Raja spice boilies worked very well.

The main lake house was better than our expectations. The pool was just the right temperature. The house was very nice with everything that wee needed .

Cant wait to go back as soon as we can.
