Lots of fish caught from sturgeon, grass carp, bream and double figure common and mirro carp, largest fish of the week a 41lb Mirror carp, my 11 year old son, Luke, on his first ever french fishing holiday had the trip of his life, broke his PB aswell as catching the most fish during the week.

Most large fish were caught during the night in mid water on either pellet or raja spice boilies.

General Comments:

A beautiful location with a home from home feeling,ideal for combining a family and fishing holiday. Leslie and Giles were both friendly and helpful providing vast informaation on not only the fishing but the local area.

I only fished a few hours a day and 4 nights. 41 lb, 31.12, 30.4, 28, 27, 26.6, 2x 26, 24, 22, and 21.4 mirrors. 28 lb, 26, and 2x 22 commons. lots of nice double figure carp and 6 small sturgeon.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

simple semi fixed bolt rigs with coated braid hooklinks about 8 inches. solar squid and octopus club mix 22mm boilies did the trick. didnt do so well with my tutti fruity as the grass carp loved them too much.
