Details of your catches:

Commons of 14lb, 12lb. Mirror 44.4lb (pb). One big fish lost to a hook pull, one missed run.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

best tactics were to fish to the lillies or on the patrol routes between the lilly beds. All runs were on either 16mm hallibut pellet or maize. Weather was cold at night with frosts every morning. Temperuture usually 3 -4c at 8am. This slowed sport down. Not easy fishing, you have to work at it but very rewarding.

General Comments:

Lovely venue. Lesley very helpful (Gilles was away). Very long drive from Calais with the kids. Also the bikes on site are not worth bothering with as they are all in a poor state of repair. Generally very good holiday. Chuffed to bits with the 40 and will be back in 08.

General Comments:

A very picturesque setting. Brill for the family, the pool was kept clean. The hosts were great, very helpful. The only problem was the amount of lillies. They need thinning out.
