1 common carp 19lb 2oz from Lotus Lake and two fish from main lake. 1 common carp 17lb 10oz and 1 grass carp 16lb10oz. Thanks to the guys on the main lake for letting me drop into the corner as nothing was showing on Lotus Lake.

Boilies or maize tight up against the lilies although small skimmer bream proved to be a nuisance this year.

General Comments:

2nd time at Mas Bas.Fishing a slight improvement on last time when I blanked, possibly due to frosts at night, but very few fish came out of either lake.Doubtfull if there will be a third time.

General Comments:

Stayed at the Willow Cottage and fished the Lotus Lake. This is a stunning location with excellent accommodation and friendly hosts.
Shame about the fishing though as this was the worst I have experienced in 6 years fishing in France. There was very little sign of fish and even though I fished 4 nights and tried most tactics I could not locate them.
Would still like to return however as it is such a great place.

Boilies set in small traps, most fish after midnight.

General Comments:

A beautiful setting for the fishing and for the family. Nice pool, good house and no noise. Well worth the long drive.

Total caught 3 fish: 28.0, 22.0, 15.0. Johns wife caught 2 fish both very good, 43lb & 36lb. He caught 1 at 15lb

We all tried everything. What bites we did have were on floating bread.

The whole place was run down, the kitchen had seen better days, the draw front fell off on the first day.

General Comments:

8 angler, 22 rods, 13 fish, 2 large, 1 medium the rest small. Total of around 1500 miles, driving 24 hours. 3 fish, the whole place and the lake needs attention T.L.C. (Thank goodness the weather and the company was great)
