Details of your catches:
50lb grass carp and 39lb mirror the biggest
Lots of mirror and common between 20-30lb and another grassy at 32lb
22 fish in total, very difficult conditions due to 38-40 degrees heat in the day so only catching at night
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Far margins, used the boat to get the bait and rigs out, from the dam wall to the right was the big grassy, under the willow from the jetty at the cabin was the big mirror
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, clean tidy, Mathieu was always available if needed, take advantage of his fridge and freezer at the farm 2 mins up the road
Were you happy with them?
Yes

Details of your catches:
25lbs mirror
44lbs grass carp
45lbs mirror
46lbs common
2lbs tench
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Using a bait boat to get to the back bay on the right hand side of the lake.
Fishing was poor due to the changing air pressure. Fruity bottom baits and pop-ups worked. Due to the heat most bites came early morning around 4am.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, second time there. It's a lovely fishing cabin and having a hot shower is really welcome. its basic but there is enough cutlery, pots and pans etc to be able to get by. BBQ was very handy too.
Were you happy with them?
Yes, we took most of our own stuff to cook with but there is always something you forget and it was in the cabin.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, it has beautiful surroundings and the most wonderful sunrises and sunsets to be admired from the decking.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes, Angling Lines we very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
General Comments:
There are some crayfish in the margins on the far side of the lake so you cant leave baits there for too long. We used a Deeper Smart behind the rowing boat to go find the fish and they were all in mid water in front of the dam wall on the gravel river bed. But no bites as they weren't feeding. It was just one of those thrips when the weather didn't play along.

Details of your catches:
A great weeks fishing with 43 fish including 3 PB’s.
We had one of 52lb, 5 other 40+, 12 of 30+, 17 of 20+ and 8 doubles.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Fishing to far margins, once fish found put plenty of bait to keep them there. All rigs worked with bottom baits the most effective. Beware of the ducks and swans who all like to follow the bait boats and then dive onto the released bait.
Were the facilities what you expected?
While the facilities are basic they were clean and we had all the essentials needed.
We found Matthieu very willing to help whenever we needed anything bait was always supplied very quickly.
Were you happy with them?
Yes as expected
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes we had a great weeks fishing with plenty on space to spread out across the lake.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes we have used Angling Lines for many years and the service is always first class
General Comments:
A very good lake in the middle of rural France, while the drive is quite long it is very straight forward.

Amazing week! We all caught big carp to 53lb, including X7 40s and Multiple 30s. Lots of lovely looking kois, linears, ghostys, commons, mirrors grassies. The sturgeon must have been hiding.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Snowman rigs. Small pop ups over particle.
