We had a great week with multiple carp to the mid 40's

Particle and boilies fished to the margins was the most effective tactic, they were very particular with spots so its important to find areas they are happy to feed on

Yes incredible venue, some of the best looking carp I've ever seen in France. Nigel is an absolute legend who will do anything for you. Would 100% recommend to anglers looking for really special carp

Unfortunately no fish for me. Very hard week’s fishing with unfavourable weather conditions. Lost 1 fish in the margin snags.

I didn’t. Listen to Nigel, he knows his lake. Look for clear spots in the weed and the clean patches in the margins where the fish have been feeding.

Yes, exactly as described in the write up. Will be much improved once the solar power is fully installed.

General Comments:

Despite the poor week fishing wise, this was a great venue to visit. Great lake for the thinking angler, will definitely be back to try and unlock its secrets.

We didn't really do well as a group but there was one other fisherman that smashed it, I do really believe the weather had a big part in it. It was sunny then hail storms, windy, raining, was all over the place

Tight into the margins, I was using Ronnie rigs with snow man pop ups white yellow

Yes I definitely will and I would also like to go back myself next year or so, Nigel the owner of the lake went above and beyond to take care of us all, a true gentleman

Definitely, very clean and all you could wish for. Plus Nigel the lake owner will help you in any way possible, we virtually didn’t lift a finger other than fishing, he is a very nice man
