News from Deux Iles lake

Feedback from Mark Wratten, who braved the weather last week to fish Deux Iles;
'Very tough week with 3 days of breaking through ice but what a beautiful venue and Bruno is a great guy... And he sister makes an amazing cake... I managed 3 carp to 40lb'

An Update and Plans For 2018, 23rd Oct
For this winter I hope to receive a further stocking of a 50lb miror carp and 14 other carp around 30lb. I will take photo of every single carp to do an update on the website when this happens.
Whilst the lake has continued to fish well this year I apologise for the lack of updates from me over the Summer, for next year I have already find a good solution to do a catch report every week so I will not make the same mistake as this year. For now you can see the customer feedback here

★★★ Deux îles report to 8 April ★★★, 8th Jun
Here we go again for a second week in lake exclusive with Rich and Scott! They decided to change swim to take advantage of the 360-degree view offered by the left island. First, they decided to fish in the river to rest swims! After a few hours, Rich managed to catch his first carp in the river, a superb 25lb wild mirror!
It's Monday, the week has only just begun and they already caught 6 fish in one day! Tuesday at the end of the day Scott caught a big mirror of 37lb. Since last season, Ian wanted to catch a sturgeon! it's all done by a beautiful 38.5lb that Ian caught on Wednesday evening.
In total, for their second week of fishing it is no less than 25 fish caught!
1 x 37lb / 4x30lb / 12 x 20lb and 7 x double and the sturgeon.
As usual two wonderful weeks with Rich and Scott! Can‘t wait for next year!

★★★ Deux îles report to 1 April ★★★, 1st Apr
4 fishermen were present on this first week of April. Richard and Scott here for the third time and Micheal and Martin for the first time.
Richard and Scott are here for two weeks this year and so they decided to let the newcomers Micheal and Martin select the fishing spot they want. After a small walk around the lake they have chosen the swim located on the left part of the lake.
Everything started very well for my two faithful visitors. In just a few hours of fishing Rich and Scott managed to catch several fish weighing up to 28lb. It was not long before things got serious. At the end of the evening, Rich took out his magic rod for a few minutes of stalking and he caught a big mirror of 39lb!!
20 minutes later, on the other swim the first fish had just been caught! A very nice carp mirror of 37lb! Three other fish were caught by Mike and Martin the next day.
During the rest of the week, from Monday to Saturday, 21 other fish were caught on both islands.
So a total of 31 carp (and a duck) were caught during the week :
1 x 39lb / 3x37 to 38lb / 1 x 30lb / 10 x 20lb and 16 x double from the restocking.
And here we go with Scott and Richard for their second week in exclusive booking!
